Only 50 days remain until the biggest gymnastics competition in Slovenia, where we will witness top performances from the world’s best gymnasts. On this occasion, we are proud to unveil the official competition poster, featuring gymnast Gregor Rakovič. Gregor will compete in Koper on his signature apparatus—the pommel horse—where he will aim to impress the home crowd.
From May 15 to May 18, 2025, Koper will once again host the FIG World Cup in Artistic Gymnastics, marking its 19th edition. Due to the European Artistic Gymnastics Championships, the event has been moved from its traditional late-May date to mid-May. This will be the last major competition before the continental championship, providing athletes with a final opportunity to refine their routines and assess their form. Organizers anticipate an exciting spectacle.
Slovenia will be represented by a strong team eager to impress the home audience and replicate last year’s successes. In 2024, Lucija Hribar stood on the top podium for the first time in her career, filling Arena Bonifika with the sound of the Slovenian national anthem. Her achievement was complemented by Luka Bojanc, who also won his first-ever bronze medal on the rings. Additionally, Anže Hribar and Gregor Rakovič both competed in the finals.
Currently, the Slovenian team is showing excellent form, regularly reaching the finals and claiming top placements in World Cup events. So far, Teja Belak has secured gold and silver medals, Tjaša Kysselef has won silver and bronze, while the Hribar sibling duo has earned two silver medals.
