It is finally time for Slovenia’s largest gymnastics event! And this year it is bigger than ever!
The main event, the 17th World Artistics Gymnastics Challenge Cup Koper will be held from 16th until 19th June 2022 in Arena Boniifka in Koper. On first two days, Thursday, 16th June and Friday, 17th June there will be qualifications for all participants. The finals will take place on Saturday, 18th June and Sunday, 19th June.

Saturday, 18 June 2022
- 15:20: men’s floor;
- 15:50: women’s vault;
- 16:25: men’s pommel horse;
- 16:50: women’s uneven bars;
- 17:25: men’s rings.
Sunday, 19 June 2022
- 15:20: men’s vault,
- 15:50: women’s balance beam,
- 16:26: men’s parallel bars;
- 17:00: women’s floor;
- 17:30: men’s horizontal bars.

What’s new?
On Sunday, 19 June you are welcome to joing us at the Gimko Playroom, which will take place in the center of Koper. The focal point of the event will be Slovenian Gymnastics Federation’s project Walk Across Slovenia by Hands. As an homage to our host city we have set a very ambitious goal: we want to reach the number 43,157 of meters walked by hand, which is the distance of the Slovenian coast.
Come join us in our quest on Sunday morning between 10:00 and 12:00 in the heart of Koper’s old city centre.
And what is finally back?
Our belowed Gimko Cup is finally back for the first time since 2019. It will be held on Satursday, 18 June in the Sports hall of the Elementary School Koper (right next to the Arena Bonifika). We are really excited to finally have the future stars of gymnastics back.
About tickets
All events except for the finals of the 17th World Challgenge Cup are free of admission.
The tickets for the weekend filals are:
- one day ticket: 9 EUR,
- weekend packet: 15 EUR.
The tickets can be bought through this website, in Slovenian Gymnastics Federation’s office in Ljubljana (only by Tueday, 14 June) and at the ticket office of the Arena Bonifika.
